ASU
So last weekend the crew and I headed out to Arizona for a fashion show held by the ASU Fencing team. This trip has been one of the most eventful journeys I have ever embarked on. We got there and didn’t go to bed till 4am after we left the bar and jammed on some jembes in the street with a homeless man and his dog which was funner than it sounds. The show was amazing, they even let us try on the gear and have a go at it. Thank you to everyone that was involved this was such a fun event, well organized and on point. My models were great Arizona was amazing….Until Next time here is a video of our trip

Today in Art | UncategorizedInfluenced
One of the cool things growing up in Corona (the town that I live in now) is that we are right smack dab in the middle of everything. It takes 45 min to go almost anywhere big…the beach, the mountains, the desert. So yesterday I decided to head out to Huntington Beach for a little while and try my luck with getting us into a couple stores out there. While I was out there after I talked to some of the stores I just wanted to walk around for a little while. So I did and it was actually amazing how when I sat down by myself and took a couple pictures how inspired I got by the things around me. You can really see some great things if you look close enough. I got some great ideas in my head for some things this summer all thanks to that little trip.

Today in Art | UncategorizedPogs and Sonic
So I was just thinking about how much I loved the 90′s I realize I was just a kid back then and being 22 now I can see how good we had it back then and also we had the best toys and cartoons. Which got me thinking about something soI looked in one of my drawers in my desk and broke out my old pogs that my mom almos threw out. And started scheming some ideas together to make a t-shirt inspired by pogs and possibly some 90′s cartoon shirts as well. Hmmmm time to bust out the drawing pad.

This weekend I took a trip out to the University of San Diego to visit my little sister, who is now in her sophemore year. We had told eachother a while back on the 5th of november I would drive down there to watch V for Vendetta which is a great movie btw. To which we did followed by some other fun activities. Eating junk food, looking at art, playing late night broom ball…etc
Probably one of my favorite spots in San Diego.
Saw this just walking around La Jolla and thought it was beautiful
A pretty sick print by Andy Warhol at his gallery in La Jolla
We had to satisfy our sweet tooths so we took a tip to the famous Ghiradelli Chocholates in downtown San Diego
I saw a bunch of these posted up on the windows of the dorms on campus and thought a lot of them were good but this was my favorite and caught my eye the most. If you look closly they are actually a bunch of post it’s collaged together to make a picture of mega man…awesome!!!! Kind of gave me some inspiration or a design haha.

Today in Art | UncategorizedTime to Carve
Monday night was one of the most fun festive nights I have had in a while, the perfect cloudy weather came to so cal with a little bit of rain. It was time to make my way over to the pumpkin patch, I looked and finally found a beauty…well a missfit beauty it was a little lopsided. After leaving the patch our friend Tara was having a pumpkin carving party/contest, I was determined to get first place. With a great spread of candy, chips, drinks and some help from friends came some more tasty treats like the cupcake in a cone mmm mmm mmm. I was feeling like paying homage to one of my favorite holiday movies “The Nightmare Before Christmas” so I decided to try and cut out a Sally, it didn’t exactly go my way but I still think I did a good job haha. Check it out.

Today in Art | Uncategorized50/50 Burger
If your ever in the Anaheim hills, Yorba Linda or Huntington Beach area here in So Cal be sure to stop by at Slaters 50/50 Burger and Design. I was taken here last night as a surprise from my girlfriend and I have to tell you it was delicious! We started off with some fried macaoroni and cheese bites, which I have never had before but loved. With so many options you get to design your burger from top to bottom. I’m a little picky but I had to experement and got their famous 50/50 patty (half beef and half bacon), American Cheese, 1000 Island Dressing, Scrambled Eggs and finally covered by a good old Wheat Bun. It may look like a hear attack in a bun but trust me…it’s sooo worth it! Unfortunatly I was way to full for desert but if you aren’t be sure to try something else they are famous for…their 50/50 Bacon Brownie it looked sooo gooood! So if your ever in any of those areas give this little place a try and a fun place for happy hour.

The Good Ol Days
So this weekend at my Grandparents 60th Anniversary (Congrats again!!!)I saw a bunch of the little kids running around with some of the old Mcdonalds toys I use to play with as a kid as well as other action figures. So my dad decided to whip out some of the coolest things from my childhood. If you were a 90′s kid you definatly knew who the power rangers were. He came outside with the white ranger and half of his costume but also with his White Tiger Zord…BAM just like that I went back into kid mode. I was surprised I even knew how to assemble it as fast as I did. As if that wasn’t enough he brought out the Blue and Black Ranger battle bike figures UN OPENED….AMAZING!!!! I was so happy to see this I just had to put it on my site. Being a 90′s kid, seeing all those shows and all the wacky things that went on in those years made me the person I am today and flowed from that into my brand. So I guess thanks dad for bringing back those memories and I hope this post brought back a couple for you guys out there!

Today in Art | UncategorizedHottest 100 Music Festival
I just got home froma very long weekend from yet another festival. This weekend I headed out to the Irvine Lake for the Hottest 100 Music Festival, which comprised a number of diffrent styles of music. From Hip hop to electro, and rock. Along with making new friends as always, this event was close enough to home that we were able to have a bunch of our good friends come out. We had quite a crowd in front of our tent friday night, before my good friends in O.K.I.M took the stage. The festival was pretty fun, the weather was a little up and down, had a little time to make some slap doodles but overall it was a pretty good festival for the 1st year of having it I believe. I was pretty excited I must say to take on the giant mouse ball, and if I may say so everyone should try doing that at least once in your life its a blast. A little update new hoodies are on their way, along with snapbacks and some new shirts so stay tunned
